Blue Cheese

Some favourite blues from a more mild creamy Yorkshire Blue to a cheese with a bite to it like the popular French Roquefort!

Fourme D’Ambert

Unpasteurised

£5.50

The natural rind developed during maturation hides the creamy texture with a mild blue flavour.

Fourme d’Ambert is often referred to as the ‘connoisseurs blue cheese’ Fourme d’Ambert is one of the most popular French blue cheeses due it’s wonderful creamy texture and perfect balance of blue flavours in the cheese.

While it has a full blue flavour, it’s thinner than many blues and the flavour builds slowly rather than hitting you straight away. We recommend this with a sweet wine as the lighter blue flavour works well with a sweet wine. Made with unprocessed Cow’s Milk this cheese is not recommended to eat during pregnancy.

Try it with Peters Yard sourdough crispbread tin you won’t regret it!
