When it comes to the perfect cheeseboard, no selection is complete without a taste of Switzerland cheese from the Kaltbach caves, this mild cheese with a long history of cheese-making in the Gruyère region, was first mentioned in 1115.
The most recognizable and famous of Swiss cheeses, aged in the natural sandstone caves of Kaltbach, which have high humidity and a stable temperature. The result is a creamy, fruity cheese that works on a cheeseboard or in the kitchen for delicious recipes.
Its flavour is strong and smooth, but not salty or sharp with a crumbly texture.
It pairs well with Red wines, but also with Sauvignon Blanc
