Blue Cheese

Some favourite blues from a more mild creamy Yorkshire Blue to a cheese with a bite to it like the popular French Roquefort!

Cambozola

Pasteurised

£6.77

It is often described as ‘Blue Brie’. It was first invented in 1900 by a small cheese company, Kaeserei Champignon.

Cambozola is a cow’s milk cheese that is a combination in style of a French soft-ripened triple cream cheese  and Italian Gorgonzola. Mild, rich and creamy in texture, it is milder than a Gorgonzola and spreadable.

If you like creamy blue cheese, but your taste buds shy away from strong and sharp, then this is your cheese!

Cambozola is a firm staple on any cheese board with nuts and dried fruits, oozing in flavour and texture. Our recommendation? Try with Miller’s Charcoal Crackers and Hawkshead Chilli.

It pairs well with Wheat Beer  and wines such as Prosecco, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sancerre.
